Mela Events is our first child which was born in 2016 when an international student was landed on the land of opportunities - Canada. In its very 1st year; Mela team successfully organized their first event in the Durham college's cafeteria with their own money to help international students to feel like home when they are away from their home. Our roots are highly embedded in our community and giving back to community is one of the key pillars of our mission. Mela events has successfully hosted Festival of Mother Tongue, Festival of Colors, Navaratri garba night, DJ nights, New year party and Independence Day
celebration.
